Emilie Steinman, a freshman at Corona del Mar High in California, placed second in the Division 3 girls varsity yellow race by covering the 2.93-mile layout in 18:52 at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Steinman helped Corona del Mar finish second as a team by an 87-94 margin behind North Torrance from California.
